SupremeFX II Win 7 !Doesnt Work!

Hi there,

before beginning the explanation, sorry for my bad English ... :confused:

so the thing is, that the new drivers that are in the ASUS site, don't work,

it tells me that the hardware doesn't support the software, soo,

any solution for this? cuz i'm desperate here :cry:

Are the drivers for Vista? You could try running them in Compatibility Mode.

Are the drivers for Vista? You could try running them in Compatibility Mode.


no the problem is that when starts installing it says this: "the archives from the driver doesnt support the hardware" and it says this to all the drivers i downloaded

i was asking about audio drivers :)

edit: nvm, i checked your spec, here, newest drivers from intel (since asus is slacking) moded with asus soundmax pids.

could it be, me using the Maximus II Formula? instead of the Maximus Formula, cuz the supremefx II its from maximus formula (x38) i don't have it in that motherboard cuz it was broken and Asus RMA me the Maximus II Formula, but it came with all Maximus Formula stuff, didnt came nothing from the Maximus II Formula, just the motherboard

I think they have same soundcard... not sure tho. You have soundcard enabled in bios right and in correct pcie x1 slot? that (that black one).

yes i have those two things checked, the soundcard is different Solor, this one haves a ADI(SupremeFX II) chipset the other one haves a Creative(SupremeFX X-FI) chipset

This chip is same as as Rampage Formula is using. And this drivers works fine on it (offical and my moded ones), so dont know... maybe your soundcard if faulty. If you have still your "old" card from maximus formula try that one.

can someone send me the files that you have for the AD1988B driver for windows 7? i'm not asking for the drivers i'm asking for the files that are associated with the AD1988B driver
