I like it as well. I just hope that they do not come out with all these different versions like they did with Vista.

One version would be WAY better and Sevenforums is cool and then name Windows Seven is good too because you don't have those people who call Vista Veesta (yes people do it).

I liked the idea at first, but now I'm starting to love it. Typing '7' or 'W7' feels easy, feels right. No more mistyping 'visat' when in a rush

Since then there has been NT 4, Windows 2000 (NT 5), Windows XP (NT 5.1), and Windows Vista (NT 6). You can check these numbers by typing "ver" at a command prompt on any of these operating systems.
But as I saw elsewhere, they're breaking their own naming convention because "7s" version number is NT 6.1. (Sorry I don't have the source on this.)
