Cannot detect 3rd monitor

I have Windows 7 64 bit with two graphics cards
1) nvidia quadro NVS 290
2) nvidia quadro NVS 295

I have common driver for them. But I can only detect monitors connected to NVS 295. But for NVS 290 it detects the graphics card but says "No Display Detected."

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks,

I have the same problem with the exception that my 2nd card is Quadro FX 1800. Exactly the same problem! I don't know how to fix it though. The latest drivers from nvidia site do not work (driver version 8.17.12.6717) The package I downloaded from nvidia is 267.17-Quadro-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql.

They should have fixed it by now. Win7's been out for more than a year now!

A few people over at the nvidia forums have had success with this driver running two different gpu's for multiple monitors, also there is this forum post which will provide you more information.

yeah, that driver is not even hosted by nvidia but rather by some website in Taiwan. I'm not installing anything on my computer from unknown websites, plus the links appear to be broken.

Anyway, I also took out the FX 1800 and put in another NVS 290. So with two Quadro NVS 290, the drivers still don't work on Windows 7 - 64 bit. I tried running them twice and it didn't help. Only one card was identified and the two monitors attached to it worked fine. Second card was identified and associated with generic non PNP VGA displays. These displays could not appear on my 3rd and 4rth monitors attached to the 2nd card.

Also, the two Quadro NVS 290 cards worked fine on Win Vista 64bit. Such a pity... I should have not installed Win 7.

Fair enough, i understand that totally, and yeah that was just the hosting site for it, seems it is gone now. Sorry about that.
