Are my system temps running too high in new W7 Pro 64 ?

Hope this is correct place for this...may not be specific Win 7 issue...but it's come up on a new Win 7 installation/setup. Ran a program call Speccy recommended somewhere in Seven forums and noticed what appears to me to be very warm/hot temperatures in my PC box.

While Speccy mainly reports on what specific hardware is in the PC..it also is getting temperature info from the system. The following are what concerns me:

1) cpu is running at 84 degrees Fahrenheit ( AMD Athlon II X4 620 )
2) Graphics card is running at 140 degrees Fahrenheit ( Nvidia GeForce 7600 CT w 256mb )
3) hard drives are running at about 94 degrees Fahrenheit ( Maxtor Sata drives )

Two questions...are these in the normal temp range or are they as they seem to me high ...?...and also is there another way to confirm these are being accurately reported ?

Are those idle temps?

Those look very high to me. I don't want my CPU to get above 70, and my GPU above 100.

They seem so high (esp the GPU) try using another program to confirm, like Speedfan.

Edit: Never mind. The temps I gave are in Celcius. Your temps actually look very cool to me.

Well considering the temps are in Fahrenheit, when converted to Celcius, they seem cool.

Just to put things into perspective (and why most use Celsius when reporting temps),

84°F = ~29°C
140°F = 60°C
94°F = ~34.5°C

For the CPU that is a great temp at idle, and wouldn't get concerned about it unless it gets up around 60-65°C at load. If the heatsink is decent and clean I'm guessing that it probably runs in the mid to high 40's, if so those are very good load temps.

For the video card that sounds about right for the idle temps, and probably into the 70's or 80's under load. My old 7600GT ran in the mid 80's to low 90's, with the thermal throttling set at something stupid like 120°C (set in the cards bios).

The hard drive as well is just fine where it is, most don't start having heat issues till they start getting up around 50° or so.

Most people are not used to seeing temps in F. Most use C.

Those temps are great!

That video card shouldn't be getting that hot. On idle it should be about 40C. It should be 60C on full load. Try adding a PCI-Bus fan next to it. Other than that everything looks decent.
