Display Open Windows as List, NOT Thumbnails

Hello everyone,

I love the way that Internet Explorer 8 displays all of its open tabs/windows in a list view when you hover over the IE8 Taskbar Icon, and there are too many tabs/windows open to display them as thumbnails. I would like it to always display the open tabs/windows in a list view. Furthermore, I want my other programs, such as Outlook, where I have multiple items open, to display them in a list, rather than thumbnails, when I hover over the Outlook icon in the taskbar.

Is there any way to get this to happen, even if I have to use a software add-on?
