Computer Does not recognize secondary monitor

I have Dell XPS M1530 and every time i plug in a second monitor it is not at all recognized by my computer. I've tried two different monitors and it happened with both I also tried restarting with the second monitor. Also, when I had vista I did this and it always worked with the same equipment. So I don't know if I'm maybe missing a driver or something. Help please.

I'm assuming you have NVidia graphics?? If so, try this from their website to austomatically find missing drivers:
NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products
