Your right. I saw that it supports LGA1366.
i saw one of the cpu on the cpu support list but didnt mention if there was a dual or quad. But it does support a 6 core. holy moly. hahaha
But i just want a 3+ ghz dual core and i be all good from there with a 4gb ddr3 ram.

It really depends on your needs. Is there any particular reason need a dual core over a quad, or do you already have a everything else except a motherboard?

Because a i7 920/930 can be given a gentle overclock to 3ghz+, even with the stock cooling. There really isn't much advantage to buying a new dual core now.

im thinking about getting a quadcore anyways. something over 3ghz...i like to overclock it

Then the 1366+920/930 would be just thing if your going for an intel chip.

With an aftermarket heat sink, you can comfortably get up to the 3.4-3.8 range, even 4.0ghz

Alternatively there is always the 1156 platform.

Ever since i saw that motherboard because of its features, its like first love at sight. LOL No homo. So i plan to buy that motherboard and a range between 4-8 GB DDR3 ram and a quad-core processor and having it overclocked. I wont be buying it untill my externsite helps me get the job and for me to save up about $1500+ to have a custom built desktop with neon lights. =D
