Clean (Custom) Install Windows 7 on HP dv3 2111TX

Usually I help my friends to make a clean install of Windows 7 on their machines as they have the Drivers CD.

But, how about HP laptops (with Vista Home Premium)?
HP doen't give any CDs, so how to recover the drivers?

I've a theory, make a Recovery Disk from Vista, then make clean install of Windows 7, then use the Recovery Disk to recover the drivers, am I right?

Be sure to also make your Vista recovery disks so you have a path back if you want to sell the computer, or restore to factory condition for any other reason (including sometimes to service the Hardware warranty).
