I bought the Windows 7 student upgrade all the way back in October, but I never downloaded it or activated it.

Now I finally wanted to upgrade, but when I go to the link I got when I purchased the upgrade I get this message:

"Sorry, It is too late to download this file. You were allowed to download within 30 days. If you have any questions, please contact Digital River Customer Service at [email protected]."

Now, I did buy the Installation DVD with it, which I don't have with me to test out, but will I at least still be able to upgrade using the DVD they sent me along with the original product key without a problem?

There's no way I'm paying for another key when I bought the upgrade from them before and never ever attempted to download or activate it.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like they only closed the download site. But I never heard of a product key to expire - unless it is a subscription key like for e.g. the AV programs.

I am pretty sure you will be okay with the Orig DVD & The original product key you got from Digtal River. One of my students has both also, but has not built the new computer yet to put it on. :)

Awesome, I was freaking out about it, even though I felt it wouldn't make sense to void the product key after 30 days.
