i'm really wondering since i'm using Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 and i can't see any Mailsettings under the Control Panel specifically in User Accounts and Family Safety. however, when i tried to search using Windows Help, this is what i've got:
any chance then i can still have it installed in my computer?
Windows 7 does not contain Windows Mail, you must download it from the web site
You must watch carefully, the screen will ask you to select which Essentials you want to dowload. If you take no action, you will get them all. Windows Essentials: Other Programs - Microsoft Windows
and i have done installing Windows Live Essential yet i still can't see any Mailoption in the control panel. however i can already run my Windows Live Mail unsuccessfully since their are still issues with it's settings or configurations. however, i'm just wondering how come it's successfully installed Windows Live Essential yet i still can't see it Mail option in the control panel
Hello anggwaponi,
You posted in an old thread where the OP had an issue with Office 2007.
Your issue is with WLM, and that is not part of Microsoft Office (the forum for this thread).
You would get better help if you start your own thread for issues like this.
Different users with different problems can make a thread very confusing.
Anyway, did you look in the WLM Options to see if you can fix your settings and configuration problems?
This screen print is for WLM 2011, but I expect WLM 2012 is similar.
I have Office installed and Control Panel > Mail shows Outlook configuration, not WLM configuration.
I don't know if WLM would add a Control Panel item if I didn't have Office/Outlook installed...
