I've just isntalled VPC over Win7 7077 but on the network settings I cant choose my LAN connection, I only have the option of Shared NAT?

Is there any problem reported regarding this subject?

Might be related -- with VMWARE the NAT service doesn't work properly -- but you can use BRIDGED which gets round the problem. No good however if you only get a single fixed IP address however as BRIDGED will use another "Real" IP address.
