Is thera an ATi equivalent for Nvidia scaling feature?

Hi,

In one game I play, It does not have 1920x1080 resolution, I use 1280x800.

If I use 1920x1080 normal resolution, and start the game, it will only show in the top left hand corner of the screen, it does not cover up the whole screen, so I have to use 1280x800 as my normal resolution.
For Nvidia users, the problem was fixed by using Nvidia scaling feature, I use ATi, so is there anything I can do?

ATI drivers do have GPU scaling. Although I'm not sure this is your actual issue here. It looks more like an issue with the game itself.

Drop the desktop resolution to the resolution you want scaled.

CCC - Desktop & Displays - Right Click on the small Monitor icon - Configure - Attributes - Tick Enable GPU scaling and select Scale image to full panel size.

If it's a DX9 game you can return to your monitors native resolution then launch the game.
With DX10 & 11, you have to remain at the resolution you intend to game at else it doesn't scale properly.

Where do I tick?

here it is...go to Graphics >> Desktops & Displays >> right click the monitor icon you want to adjust and click >> Configure >> then you can adjust it here from the scaling tab.

Ahh. The info I gave was for a DVI connected monitor. The info Adam gave is for an HDMI connected monitor to correct Overscan/Underscan. Your monitor must be connected with VGA. With a VGA connection, there would be OSD controls for position and scaling. This won't fix your issue.

I had spare DVI cable, two to be precise, didnt realise. Connected DVI cable now.

Click the scales at the top right of the post you want to rep.

If you run the game in "fullscreen mode" even if you set the resolution to different than what windows uses, it will change it while you play the game and change it back when you are done playing.
