Hi. I don't rip very often and last time I did it was with Vista. If memory serves, I'd put a CD in the tray and WMP would open with a list of the tracks and I could tick those I wanted to rip then click 'rip'. Simple. With Windows7, WMP seems most user-unfriendly. Here's what I have on-screen after loading a 3-track CD:
Shouldn't there be a 'rip' tab? So far, all I've been able to do is switch to 'Now Playing' where there is a 'rip CD' button. Is there a better way of ripping, one where I can choose which songs to rip? Also, while I'm here, I've been downloading a lot of songs lately and playing them via WMP. After editing (where necessary), I burn to a DVD. But the 'library' is chock full of everything that's ever passed through WMP. Is there a way of preventing songs from going into this library in the first place? Many thanks.
