internal webcam not working

i have an Advent Roma 2000 with a built in webcam, this was working when i installed skype, a few months ago but now isnt, have been in start--devices manager but there is no imaging device,, obviously i've messed up somewhere, can anyone help???

hi gaylej, welcome to the forums ,have you tried a system restore http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html prior to when the problem started ?
