Canon Pixma MP160, scanning and MP drivers

I have just downloaded the MP navigator in order to scan from my Pixma MP160, which I have had for 3 years now, but have never used it for scanning. The icon appeared on my desktop, but when I press the scan button and I choose MP navigator as the program to use, it tells me that the driver is not installed. How is this possible? I downloaded it from the Canon site and I do not see any separate downloads for drivers...

Does anyone know what I should do?

Have you installed the actual printer driver? It's the first one listed on the screen shot.
