Cod4 Black Screen on MP

Hi, I'm pretty new to these forums, but it looks like I could get some help. So here goes, I installed Windows 7 RC yesterday and now I installed CoD4. Single player works fine but upon starting MP i see the splash screen as normal and then the screen goes black and maybe 20s flicks back to windows and there is a problem troubleshooting window on screen for a fraction of a second but i dont have enough time to read it. I already tried some punkbuster stuff, but I dont think that is the problem here as I cant even get to the menu.

Any ideas will be appreciated?

I have had the same problem when using certain sound drivers from Realtek and I believe it was something to do with having it in 24 bit, try changing it to 16 bit and if that doesn't work try another sound driver.

Another thing that you might not know is that you will not be able to use any servers with Punk buster or you will be kicked, unfortunately Even Balance knows about the problem but are not going to fix it until Windows 7 is released.
