My computer fails to shutdown or sleep 80% of the time, this has been happening for about a month and i cannot figure out what the problem is.
When i try to shutdown the computer is stays on the shutting down screen for about 20mins before going to a BSOD. When i restart the computer after the BSOD is fails to find the RAID array and indicates "Missing operating system". after another restart it boots into Windows with no problems.
I have read the Minidumpp files and it seems to point to the iaStor.sys driver as the cause some of the time but not always. I have installed the latest RAID driver from intel but it still happens.
I would appreciate any help resolving this.
Tim.
