Failure to start after fresh install

I just put a new computer together with brand new hardware and after installing Windows 7 64bit, I get strange system corrupt errors when booting. It normally attempts to do a start up repair, which of course fails.

Hardware:
Intel Core i3 530
Intel BOXDH55TC mATX
OCZ DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1333 PC3-10666 CL 9-9-9-20
Corsair VX450 450W ATX

I've reinstalled the operating system over 10 times by now, and keep getting the same errors upon start up. I've also tried installing on a spare hard drive with no change.

Errors include:
- Windows\System32 is corrupt or unreadable
- Missing or corrupt driver tcpip.sys
- Missing or corrupt driver FC_Res.sys
- Missing or corrupt driver vsadmin.sys (something like that)

I tried booting into safemode, but it won't let me because I can't get into windows normally to complete the installation.

Please fill out your system "specs" that way those who have similar hardware may have encountered the same problem, and have resolved their problem.
Just guessing at this point, but I would look to your DVD drive.

Update: I just tried a 32bit install DVD and it installed fine. Any ideas?

Trying a fresh install from an alternate DVD-ROM now. Will update when it completes.

Failed.

Running memtest now.

Memory appears good.


I've tried:
- 3 different installation disks (64bit & 32bit)
- 3 different hard drives
- 2 different DVD-ROM drives
- checked memory using memtest86+

Are there any tests I can run on the motherboard?
