Error with Amp Font Viewer

I absolutely love this program but since upgrading to Windows 7 I am not able to install any fonts from the font viewer itself.
I get the following error (attached)
I can temporarily install it but some of them I would like to permanently install..

Run as administrator. (Right click on the exe and select "run as admin)

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, have administrator rights AND have clicked 'run as administrator' to launch the applicatin but when I try to permanently install a font I get the message "error accessing the windows registry".

Any idea how to fix this?
