Ran Notebook battery completely down: How to check for damage?

Yesterday, I thought my notebook was left in the bag for three hours in the standby mode - WRONG! The lithium batteries completely ran down - no shutdown at 5%....

Wanting to move my User folders to another partition

If I run multiple OSes, having all the User folders in a partition by itself might eliminate duplication. If there is a thread on how to redirect the the user folders, that would be helpful. Noticed...

The Celeron on my notebook runs well on Win7.

"Chuck" is the only one I use and AFAIK has all the admin...

On the bad boots, I had the option of a normal Windows boot (failed), or safe boot, and eventually booted...

Installed a Kingston SSD five months ago - 128GB
Still use System Mechanic Pro, although not as OCD. Using it lot less out of fear of corrupting registers and boot sectors.

Mentioned recently I swapped my hard drive for an SSD, then increased RAM to 8 GB.

Installed RAMdisk (512 MB) and trying to send all the temporary files I can think of.
