BSOD Iastor.sys

Hello folks.

I've started to get BSODs while burning discs in Nero 8 of the IRQ LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO (or something like that :p) type for Iastor.sys

Of course, first thought is the rootkit....

Thanks Tony. I've made the changes and will see if instabilities continue. So far, no more BSODs (I know they will reappear). But something is always up with W7 for some reason. :(

Updates: Seatools long test shows no drive errors. Chkdsk shows no errors. sfc /scannow shows no problems. Also ran Prime95 when it was first built, no problems there either. Looking at you W7......

Can you think of any other ways to test for a faulty mainboard besides the method I tried (ran the tested RAM in each slot individually with no issues)?

Checked for BIOS updates. Have the most current.

Did memtest already. 7-8 passes on each individually. Then 3 passes together. Nada. Should have stated this in OP...
