Hi there,
couldn't install Win7 at all. All three disks gave me error 0x80070570. Tried on another hdd, worked after a couple of tries. BSOD'd when i tried to copy some videos to an external drive.

You had it correct there. Had a dvd writer and my OS hdd on a sata-600 port, but it seems I switched them. Put the writer in a sata-300 port, the hdd back in the first and now it works again!....
