Changing mechanism that win 7 uses for picture viewing

If I have a jpg on HDD, and view it with, say irfanview, it is noticeably sharper than the same picture viewed using the Win Fax and Picture viewer.

I have just found to my irritation that iTunes _will_ check CD info such as song names etc. ....however....

Every now and then it fails to find info. It almost seems as if it does not even try....

WMC is hogging folders that I want to remove/delete

I have tried to delete several folders containing recorded DVDs. Most of them went, but there are a half dozen that can not be deleted.

DVD43 failing on many DVDs

I am ripping the entire DVD as VideoTS, AudioTS folder, not just the files to be played.. I have maybe 1/2 dozen that have not worked. Many others are fine.

DVD43 scans the DVD and seems to work...
