BSOD during shutdown; Local area connection fails after prolonged use

If i get LAC issues and attempt a reboot i get a BSOD during shutdown. Sometimes the BSOD happens on its own. LAC stops working after a period of use (download/Upload etc)

You may try disabling the Power Management mode...

You may try disabling the Power Management mode of the affected network adapter, here's an image to give you a clue.
