I did all that stuff long ago- the problem persists. Since multiple programs have this problem, and all other hardware related problems have been ruled out, that leaves only one culprit...Windows 7!

Crysis went to a window during game play and will not return to full screen. I tried restarting the game with no luck. Any ideas?

I found a failed install of Service Pack1 for Win7. After running the install (successfully), The problem was solved. Gawd I wish MS wouldn't put me through this stuff! Thanks for your efforts though!

Thanks for the links but they all talk about error messages which I don't get- I just get a frozen program. I just noticed Word 2010 doing the same thing as Outlook. Other programs print fine.
