sorry, no help on a solution but I am having the same problem. I don't use alt+tab unless I'm getting out of a full-screen app so I didn't notice until I saw this but yeah, mine's doing the same.

Thanks for the help all but it seems that a VPN/Remote Desktop Connection program I have installed which has its own display driver replaced my default display driver which removed this function....
