I think I have solved this! I set up the default...

I think I have solved this! I set up the default microphone to a headset instead . I still record with the default headset, the sound just gets picked up from my headset rather than my laptop. Thanks...

Thanks for the reply. I have ticked both boxes, but still the only thing that shows up is the laptop's microphone. Do have a location of this mixer thing? I'm not sure what you mean.

Headset's microphone is not appearing on the recording devices list.

I recently bought a Philips SHM7110U/10 headset to hopefully get better audio than my laptop's current microphone while recording with Fraps.

Fraps is currently using my laptop's default...
