I do not embrace Mr Scruff. I just want it "outta here". I suspect Microsoft was paid extra to make it "sticky". Too bad some hacker has not taken it on as a personal challenge to get rid of it.

I followed the link deleted the file, started WMC, watched the waterfall being restored complete with Ninga Tuna! Groan...

Thanks for your response. I created the image with the AHCI drivers loaded via F6 from the beginning. I saved an image using Windows 7 Backup and restored the image with the built in restore...

Interesting I tried all scenerios! The ONLY method that resulted in the proper path was the last one. ALL the others still pointed to the user as if I had not specified the Run as Administor.
