well never mind about that. I am saying that i reinstalled the OS on the drive i want to recover a few files. I have a recover software but it didn't find that file..is that because it is overwritten...

Hello,

I am trying to completely erase everything from my hard drive (windows are not installed on that hard drive). So is everything deleted by going to the hard drive and right click -> format?...

Sorry if this is the wrong section for this thread, but i couldn't much it anywhere else either. So basically i am trying to delete a folder, which in properties shows it has 0 bytes...
