Removed keyboard, same problem. Removed all other things connected (usb memory stick, speakers, ethernet cable) and it took me to the hp recovery manager. Just backing up files now and i will then go...

Does not boot unless i use the startup menu.

My pc switches on but doesn't boot. I normally just get a black screen with a flashing underscore in top left corner. I can get into the start up menu and then the boot menu and boot the pc that way....
