Digital Input Lag / Delay - Line 6 Guitar Port

I have a Line 6 Guitar Port that is run as a digital input over USB. I have tried changing the buffer and still receive a slight lag that makes it impossible to play as the lag throws off any rhythm....

SOLVED: Sigmatel 97XX C-Major Audio Driver Help Needed!

I have an older P4 2.8ghz Dell Dimension 3100 that currently has Windows 7 installed. Apparently the driver is the Sigmatel 97xx C-Major audio according to support.dell.com - the first thing I tried...
