Strange network problem.

Hello

I'm having trouble transfering files from a windows vista computer to a windows 7 computer.

I can see both computers on my network, but i can only access the files on my windows 7...

After i share the file in the network, i had to go the security label, Edit->Add , and there i typed "Everyone" and finally it worked!

There is a another easier way to avoid those password prompts when sharing with XP. Just do the following steps on the XP machine.

Goto... Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Local Security...

Since you are using a win 7 machine and an XP machine you need to set up a workgroup, not homegroup.
