I doubt that it increases performance for you since you already have 3 GB system ram. Benchmarks have shown it as I'm saying. It is really intended for people with 1 GB or less but no harm in running...

Yes, it is probably from a badly burned DVD and it couldn't copy or access that driver while installing; hence the error.

It could also be from a bad download itself but this is less likely.

If you have an ATI card, probably due to CCC crashing. Download and install the latest driver from ATI/AMD's website.

Or use Regedit to disable CCC from starting with Windows, too.
