How to encrypt .txt file

I wanted to encrypt a single text file.
So I right clicked Details > Advanced
checked the bottom encrypt option- Compress option left blank
"Details" button greyed out!

Not that I need it, but...

Easy special characters stopped working

Used to place a special character bij holding ctrl or ctrl-shift and selecting like the accent grave (under the esc button), releasing and then pressing the e.
Viola- French "Frere" correctly......

Because I'm the only user, I have set EVERYONE in full control so I can exchange easily without having to deal with Trusted Installer....
