I tried installing Ubuntu and it failed miserably on my machine. The only release I have been using is Fedora for many reasons. Is it possible to reinstall Windows without wiping out my MBR?

I want to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine but I can't have Windows 7 messing with my MBR. If Windows 7 wipes out my MBR I'm going to be reinstalling Fedora 14 also and that is going to ruin my day....
