Moving virtual machine to a new PC

Do i just have to copy the vhd file?

(I've got to rebuild my W7 machine and it would help if I didn't have to rebuild the XP bits as well!)

Mobo Drivers - MS or vendors?

If device manager is happy that W7 has managed to find drivers for everything automatically, would the team recommend leaving well alone or going for the mobo vendors drivers?

Yep - that's what I'm doing. File in question is CH_77160.inf and the response is as i mentioned above...

"The folder you specified doesn't contain a suitable s/w driver for your device"

OK - downloaded this. Basic install installed...

OK - downloaded this. Basic install installed everything except the drivers.
Did an instal from Device Manager - Went to Display adaptors - FireGL.... - update driver software - manually pointed it...

I've also been recommended an Asus EN9600GT if I want to watch HD TV and a Sapphire Radeon 4350 1Gb if i don't.

Any thoughts on those?

Dual monitor graphic card suggestions

Currently have FireGL V3350 which there are no ATI-provided W7 drivers.
It does seem to work OK though with the automatically installed drivers.

Thinking to upgrade to something a bit more up to...

Odd W7 problems - advice needed...

I recently upgraded my system to W7 Pro. H/W is an Asus P5Q Pro, 4Gb and an Intel quad core which has all been running XP fine for about a year. Bought a new 500G drive to put W7 on.
