Windows 7 resolution problem on an older system

I have an HP Pavilion a1357c it is about 4-5 yrs old. My monitor is an Acer x203h I believe it is a 22" lcd flat screen. The highest resolution I can go up to is 1024x768. Everything looks big. Is...
