Ok thank you.
As the pc is purely a media centre I may try a clean install to see if I can get it to work. There are only a few other programs on there so shouldnt be too bad.

Reseting still leaves me with the black screen but sound ok. PDVD10 then brings up the error WMP cannot play DVD Video again.

I have a library of .vob's that worked perfectly fine with Vista MC and WMP , however since I have done a clean install of W7 none of them work. I get the sound perfectly, but the video is not...
