hi which audio drivers are x58 pro-e compatible with?

I wanna use something else instead of realtek if possible.

Tried it, mic volume still absurdly low. Have to yell at 100 mic volume to even be heard.

Mic volume very low even when maxed

Hi everyone,

I've noticed with Windows 7, the mic volume seems to be very low. I've cranked it up to max volume already. If I use mic boost, the sound quality becomes ****.

Desktops: Tower on desk or floor?

I personally put mine on the desk because the floor is carpet which might suck in more dust. (Tower has 5 led fans)
