A small app that minimizes memory usage
it seems to work for me
as you can see explorer.exe and dwm.exe are reduced
if you want to give it a try...

hello,
i was just wondering if i could upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb on my motherboard??
IT is a Foxxconn GM31 MK-X mobo
which says it can handle 4gb but i have read on various sites in can...

open steam, right click l4d2
click properties
click the local files tab and select verify integrity of game cache

I create a restore point but then it vanishes??

hi all, i create a restore point (capture)
then i atempt to remove the older one after i make sure everythings fine
but when i do the disc cleanup it leaves the previous restore point and me 2 Gig...

Use this address to find the updates you want
in the right hand corner theres a search box,type in your windows version
then find the specific files you want\need
then save them wherever you want...

Go to services, STOP Windows Updates
Open Computer \ C: Windows\Software Distribution\Data Store
DELETE all files and folders in here

RESTART Windows Update in...

Hi all,
anyone having problems replacing Shell32.dll??

On reboot i get Atbroker.exe failed to start (or something like that)

so i have to go into repair mode and delete it then rename original...

You can try changing these 2 system.cfg lines:-

r_HDRBloomMul=0,0
r_HDRBrightLevel=0,0
to
r_HDRBloomMul=0,3
r_HDRBrightLevel=0,3

or try a combimation of both ie.1,3 etc
