October 9 updates broke desktop gadgets

Only the CPU, clock and weather that are built into Windows work now. I have Network, Drives and GPU meter from the same author and i first noticed the GPU gadget was just showing a pink background...

Same as always, right click -> Rename, and change it to .ini and click outside the file name, and then ok when it asks if you want to change the extension type.

Make sure in the Control Panel -> Folder Options...

Make sure in the Control Panel -> Folder Options that you have Hide extensions for Known files types UNchecked and that the .ini file isnt really a .txt.

Not sure if it was your fix, or trying to run from the CD instead of the shortcut, but it works. However, i still had data left over from my old install on XPSP3 and it started right up using it.

Works somewhat ion 64bit. The opening animations (game menu) dont run, so its just a static picture. For some reason the highest resolution is 1280*960 not 1024 like with XPSP3. But it does play.
