nVIDIA gF8400gs problem

i have got new gf 8400 gs card , i have installed its drivers but whenever i plug the serial cable to the card my monitor goes blank. it just remains still.

i have win7 installed on my system. i have got a new nvidia gf 8400 gs i have installed it's drivers but whenever i plug serial cable to card my monitor shows nothing.it just remains blank.
