Mine started out at >500KB/sec but has slowly dropped to around 50KB. It went from a 1 hr download to about 6 hrs. I have a 2.5MB/sec download capability.

Uncheck all "Internet Information Services" if it isn't already. It's in "Turn Windows features on or off" in the left panel of "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel. Reboot.

My experience with Vista 32 preinstalled on the T60p was a good one. Even without service packs, it was extremely stable. Absolutely no problems at all.

I never investigated the snipping tool until just now. I kept seeing it mentioned so I got curious. Thanks, I used to PrtSc, open PSP, paste as new image and crop. Just click and drag from now on. :)
