thanks for suggestion, Previously AVG, Malwarebytes & Superantispyware all failed to detect ilivid and System Restoring to date prior to ilivid fist appearing didnt work either- pop ups came back...

As stated in my post I did use Adbloc plus and it did stop ilivid pop ups but it also blocked pop ups for sites that I wanted eg some banking pop ups etc also no guarantee there arent other ilivid...
