I am seeing the "AntiMalware Service Executable" crash upon a scan with MSE.
The "Aw, Snap" pages continue to appear in Chrome, though IE didn't mess up for me...

Are you using Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate/Enterprise? You can use Windows XP Mode. :)

EDIT: Or, you can buy/download a Windows disk from Microsoft (or other sources...) and use that.
