actually, I think you will have black bars either way. and that said, I would go taller only because I cant stand short screens, cant see enough when doing 'normal' things.

I've looked into this myself. It appears that CPU is an option and possibly RAM. I've seen several places indicate that I could go to 8gb but Dell officially says 4gb. If 4gb sticks were cheaper...
