Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately having worked thru them -no luck. System restore works but does not pick up main C drive just C system. I am reluctant to try the last as I had enough...

Hi

Does anybody know how to force Win 7 to recognize a drive in restore? In XP you deleted the drivetable.txt or sr.inf but I cannot these in 7. Thanks in advance:confused:
