Hmm, interesting.. Deciced to go with a mulitport pci express instead, hoping that might work better than a usb, so I will see how that goes. Wondering if it can be installed...

Will serial com ports from a pci express card show up and be useable in XP mode?

Testing with 8 port usb to serial unit using "attach device" proved to be problematic and ultimately un-useable....
