If the only place it is showing is CCleaner, on the cleaner tab, it isn't installed. It is just listed on CCleaner so you can clean it if you want to.

Yeah I would definitely check cooling (a pain on a laptop), as this was happening to my laptop. The fan was fried but before that it was always running. Got it cleaned and now all is right again....
