ie 9 not allowing search

I believed this solved my issue thanks alot :)

ie 9 not allowing search

i can open up ie 9 do a search (say ebay for example) then when i hit a link there another tab opens up that is just blank. i've tried looking under tools internet options for what maybe causing this...
